Beards and Caroline

Beards and Caroline^ are from Northern Iowa. Both are originally from Minnesota, but 22 years of marriage later, are true Iowan's.

Beards: I am a warehouse operator at 3M Logistics. I drive forklifts and pick orders for customters..(Wallmart, Target, Shopko...ect) I love my job, it is diffrent everyday, and was a great career move. Originally, I was in radio for 18 years working in Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota. (KCPI, KATE, KIWA, and KIOW-FM) So if you were in the area, and were listening to the radio, or attending a wedding dance... you may have heard my voice! hehehe I have been chatting since the summer of 1997, and love it. Caroline^: After years of working in graphic arts I made a change. I also work at 3M Logistics for Manpower in the UPS department processing and picking orders. We bought our first house 5 years ago and are trying to fix up the old place. I love to decorate, paint and plan my next project. I like to sew, watch decorating shows and give my attention to Goldie, 6 year old lab/brittany; Xena, 7 month old Rat Terrier and Meucci, 5 year old black cat. I also love working on the computer making cards, posters, writing letters, and sometimes chatting (when my husband lets me on the puter). Our next big project is to turn an upstairs bedroom into the computer room with it's own phone line and decorative personality. This is exciting to me because I can have my dining room back! Hehehehe.

eyegirl & Dolger

Eyegirl and Dolgur live in Nebraska. Eyegirl works at a vision care office. Eyegirl and Dolgur are married.

Jodada

Hi, I am Jodada and I live in Iowa. Contrary to popular belief, although everyone in Iowa has some general knowledge of farming, we don't all walk around in bibs or over-alls!! I'm working as a Logistics Warehouse Operater, at 3M® in Forest City, Iowa. We distribute many of 3M®'s thousands of products. My hobbies are limited because I'm usually busy with work and the Iowa National Guard, which I have been serving in for 4 years. But when I do get some time, I like water-skiing, motorcycling, camping, exploring (hiking), computing, golfing, and just visiting with friends and relatives. i.e. argueing :)

My aspiration in life is to get back to college to major in Computer Science. I'm trying to get a systems analyst position with 3M®. Above that, and more importantly, settle down and have a couple kids, and spend the rest of my life with my own family. JoJo

Hi, my name is ^JoJo^. I am an owner/operator of #WLC. I live in Minnesota where it is cold (brrrrr) in the winter and the mosquitoes (our state bird) drive you crazy in the summer. I work part time with my own little business where I go into the customer's home and teach them the computer basics on their own computer. The client likes the one on one way of teaching. It combines my love of teaching and my love of computers. A gal can't ask for a better job. :-)

Maggie_May and coolldad

MaggieMay and her husband Coolldad live in Minnesota. MaggieMay works in an income tax office and Coolldad works for a sign company. Most often we can be found in TalkCity, CityPub#3, however, we come over to WLC and visit our friends. We have 3 children, 2 boys and a girl.

Meet Milkmaid. Milkmaid is ^milkman^'s younger sister. She is twenty-four years old and lives in Victoria BC Canada. She is the proud mom of her three year old son and a baby girl born in August. Maid is a stay home mom, who will get back into school when her kids enter school, to become what? She doesn't know. MilkMaid enjoys out door activities such as camping, 4X4 in' , going out in the dune buggie, and just relaxing in the fresh air.

Meet ^milkman^ from Vancouver, Canada. Milkman is a GVRD worker. He enjoys 4X4 ing and camping in his nice, not so new anymore but close, FORD. He will try almost anything once. missions

I hate writing about myself. missions is a........... 39 year old divorced father of 3 from the upper MidWest. I have a way of appearing more intellegent than I actually am, by knowing who to ask when some one asks me a question I do not know the answer to.

Its not the years that that make ya old, it's the miles and its the heart that keeps you young!

vern & shell

Vern and Mrs. Vern (Shell on the internet) live in northern Iowa about 20 miles from the Minnesota border (dontcha know). Vern works for the CAPCO (Creative Aluminum Products Co.) division of Winnebago Industries-the famous camper manufacturer. Shell works for Fleetguard Manufacturing Ind., a division of Cummins Engine Corp. They manufacture filters for autos, trucks, and farm equipment.

When they're not on the internet, they enjoy spending time with their dog Gizmo-a feisty little pekingese. Vern enjoys doing home improvement (and sometimes it's the Tim Allen variety). Shell likes crafts of any sort and candles.

They've been in marital bliss since July of 1997.

Hi, my real name is William. I live in Southeastern Connecticut. I used to work on and around the water. Dredging mostly. I have worked all over New England, including Vermont! I've been fooling around with Pirch for about 3 years, and have been addicted to "chat" for about as long. I generally hang out on "Chatnet" in #WLC or #Nice-Friendly-People. I had a liver transplant January 24, 1998. I have nothing but praise for the whole Transplant Team, at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut. Especially the nurses on the Transplant Floor. Gail, and Dana, is you listening? All of the nurses, and doctors are wonderful. I've been disabled for 4 years. I wish I could go back to work, but I don't think I'll ever be able to do the physical labor that I used to do. So, I have been fooling around with computers.

I have had another liver transplant, last year, at Mt. Sinai, in New York City. Date: May 28, 2001. For my money, Mt. Sinai is the best hospital in the World! The Doctors, Nurses, and all the health professionals are wonderful.
